I have been through many tornado watches and warnings in my life, but that is all they ever amounted to.  I have lived near the coast and been though a couple of hurricanes, but the worst for me was losing power for several days.  Never have I been through a disastrous storm that took all that I had.  I can't imagine what it must be like for these families who have lost everything.
