I was matched with the fabulous Stacy from Funky Fresh Firsties! Isn't her blog name just adorable?! It is so much fun to meet new blog friends this way, too.

I was honored to be able to check out TWO of her wonderful sight word activities.

The first was Buy a Sight Word.

My friends really liked this activity!  We put it in our word work station and they went to town! I loved that while they worked on reading the sight words, they also worked on math facts.

**Please note: The product does not view like this, but I couldn't get it to print right on the 2 printers I tried.  It has a cute colored background and NO white squares.**

The product has 5 levels of sight words! Pre-Primer through 3rd grade! Each level is colored coded, too. (Except in my case when it wouldn't print right! GRRRR!) I thought this was a great idea! Buy it now to finish out the year.  Even if you move grade levels, you don't have re-purchase the product! Another great thing is that it allowed me to put harder sight words into the station for my higher readers. It was perfect for us!  I also found it interesting that it provided differentiation all by itself.  My higher friends picked out the longer words which made them do more addition.  My lower friends chose the simpler words that provided them the opportunity to do easier addition. It was perfect!

We just simply recorded our math sentences next to our words that we read as we solved our addition problems.  Though I modeled how to neatly complete this task, we all know that's not how it always ends up!

The second fabulous sight word product I get to share is Sunny Side Up. This one is my favorite!

It is filled with various sight word levels, just like Buy a Sight Word.  It was so simple to prepare, too.  Print, laminate, then cut!

I made this little frying pan out of black construction paper and just sent it through my trusty 'ole laminator.  I have had this spatula for a while that I snagged at the Dollar Tree.  (As you can see, I had tried to paint it gold once, but it didn't work. )

Next week as I introduce this station, I'm going to show them how to flip their sight words into the pan.  If they can't read it, they can't flip it! They will ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! All it takes is a little something to change it up and make it brand new ALL over!

Be sure to check out Stacy's TpT store for these great products and MANY more!! Stop by her blog, show her some love by following her and see what product she is featuring of mine, too!
