I hope you all have been enjoying this BEAUTIFUL Sunday!! At least here in Texas it's gorgeous outside! I have been working on this for the last 3 hours so I am completely ready to just keep it short and close my computer for the day and go enjoy the weather!!
Here is a peak at my new unit Sweet Numbers. It is a 5 day teaching unit that teaches about identifying and comparing numbers 50-80. It also teaches using 4 different number models, or ways to represent numbers. It's aligned with TEKS and CSCOPE, of course.

Too cute! Hope to win!
ReplyDeleteSO glad I found your blog! I'm a first grade teacher in Texas and our district just told us they are adopting CSCOPE for us to use next year. My team had a training last week and we are sooo overwhelmed!! I'm hoping it's not as bad (so much to read and go through) as it seems!!!
ReplyDeleteWith all that said, I would love to win your packet!!

For the Love of First Grade
HANG ON!! It's a wild ride and many things do not make sense at all. Example: We taught MLK back in October. WHAT?!?! Crazy, I know! Math is good, but A LOT to work through. ELAR is okay, but definitely not my favorite. I have taught for the last 3 years with a balanced literacy model approach. CSCOPE doesn't have all of those pieces. This is my second year with CSCOPE and this is better than the first, but I'm still not a big fan of it. Sad news, I know....
