We have been working on telling time to the hour and half hour this week.
We made these clocks using paper plates, sentence strips, brads, and markers.
We watched several YouTube Videos. Here is my favorite!
We read these wonderful books and used our own clocks as we read the story.
We made this anchor chart. Nothing fancy at all! But it serves its' purpose!
Stayed tuned! I hope to have this posted by Saturday!
Giveaway winners of the Sweet Numbers giveaway are Carolina and Bryn! Check your email soon! I'm sending the unit your way now!
Your time activities look so fun! I really like that video, I'm sure it got the kids pumped up to learn. Time seriously is flying by, isn't it?! It's going to be summer before we know it :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to check out more of you telling time unit. Today's lesson on time to the half hour was brutal....I am definitely grabbing some paper plates and trying your idea tomorrow! The Video references look great too! This is sure to help me NOT pull the hair out tomorrow!
