How We Track Data

My district requires us to track data and for it to be displayed.  Last year we were allowed to track whatever we wanted.  This year they are requiring us to track specific things.  No big deal! We already were tracking 2 of the 3!

I'm sure you have seen my posts about our Sight Word Superheroes here and here.  You have also seen my post about our Fluency Races.  My kids are LOVING tracking this data.  Here are some snapshots of our data tracking so far.

Each student also has to keep their own data folder and be able to explain it to any administrator who comes in.  Ya'll, this is tough!  I wanted to make it easy for the kids and easy to understand.  Here is what the inside of their folders look like.

Do you track data? What do you do? How does it work in YOUR classroom?? Please share!!

Ya'll, tomorrow is Friday and I CAN'T WAIT!! It's been a looooooong week of the Lord moving and teaching me, but it's just exhausting sometimes.  You know what I mean, right??  T.G.I. (almost) F!!

  1. Wow- that DOES look exhausting. You look like you have some great strategies to keep track of the data, but that is a LOT to do!

Kudos to you on making it so kid-friendly!
