Race to the Finish!

I have always tracked reading levels and discussed them with the students even.  I think they like the challenge of knowing where they need to go next and the excitement of moving up a level.

Many of my co-workers tracked fluency levels this year.  I have just always tracked it once they were reading a certain level.  If they didn't meet the fluency expectation for that time of year, then they couldn't advance a reading level.  It has always gone hand in hand.  I still believe that it does and should, but I wanted the students to know that their fluency level plays a big part in their reading level.

SO, with that said I have created my first little TpT packet!! It's a "Fluency Race".  Each student has a race car to use to track their fluency throughout the year with cones that have the numbers on them! I also created cards that can be used to practice the first 100 Fry phrases.  It's a race to the finish! Click the image below to check it out in my TpT store!

I hope you find it helpful! This is my first time trying to sell something.  I am open to any feedback! (Please don't be too harsh! ;))
