Constitution Day FREEBIE

September 17th is Constitution Day.  Because we must teach it on that day, I have been working on just a few ways to integrate it.

We are starting with a poem that has rhyming words during our shared reading time.

We will probably read this book. It's a great read aloud in simple kid lingo!

We can also do some writing and picture drawing.

Feel free to grab this FREEBIE for your classroom next week!!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this! I downloaded & left feedback. We are having an assembly on Constitution Day and this will be perfect for my 1st graders to sing...short and sweet. LOVE! :)

  2. Beautiful work ... thank you SO much for bringing a difficult and abstract concept down to the concrete for our littlest Patriots!
